Niacin is a safe, effective and non-toxic vasodilator which increases blood flow and circulation to peripheral areas. Niacin has also been shown to be of benefit when cholesterol levels are elevated.
NOTE: Niacin produces a warm tingling sensation often accompanied by a red “flush” around the head and neck. This is normal and a direct indication that its natural vasodilating properties are working. This sensation is more pronounced in people that do not take niacin regularly. It occurs within thirty minutes of ingestion and subsides in approximately one hour later. Individual sensitivities vary.
